项目背景

Background

陆慕老街地处苏州元和塘文化产业园区，位于苏州文化产业黄金三角区的核心位置，该区域正在创建国家级产业示范区。本次设计的目标范围由陆慕老街区域17公顷的城市遗存地块组成，考虑到目前江浙老街的形态过于均质化，本次竞赛需要在城市更新的思维下，进行全新的形态设计，探索老街新生的创新模式。陆慕老街浸润千年文脉滋养，孕育了御窑金砖、缂丝技艺两大国家级非物质文化遗产，走出了“兵圣”孙武、“商圣”范蠡、“明四家”文徵明等贤士，该区域的全新设计需要采用与时共进的建筑空间形式，突破传统文化的限制。此外，园区已领衔打造天虹文教科技研发社区、活力健康研发社区、蠡口智慧家居社区、元和塘科技文化创意社区等一批产业载体，进一步推动区域产城融合战略。
